About The Game

Just like many of the games I've made, this is a very boring game! And also, as with many of my games, I have thought deeply about its theme.

When I travel and come across wishing wells or donation boxes at temples, I always throw in a few coins — it feels like a civilized way of marking my visit.

This time, the theme is devotion. I think a wishing well is a form of devotion. In real life, we simply toss in a coin and make a wish. But in the game, it becomes a repetitive, mechanical action. Of course, there are goals and rewards to motivate players, but ultimately, they don't really mean anything. Just as I have always believed — life itself has no inherent meaning. Yet we continue to work, perhaps for our own survival, or perhaps for society, or for some higher purpose.

I'm actually very curious how long most people will persist before quitting this game. If you played it, feel free to leave a comment below with how many coins you had thrown before giving up!

关于这个游戏

就像我制作的很多游戏一样，这个游戏是一个非常无聊的游戏！

 也正如我制作的很多游戏一样，我对这个主题的思考也很深切。 当我旅游的时候，遇到许愿池或者寺庙里的功德箱，都会投下几个硬币，有种文明版的到此一游的感觉。 

这次的主题是奉献。我觉得许愿池就是一种奉献，现实中我们只是投出了一枚硬币，许下一个愿望。 但在游戏里，变成了一种重复的机械性的行为。 当然游戏中也有激励玩家的目标和奖励，但是它们也没有什么意义。 正如我一直秉信的，人生是没有意义的。 但是我们还是在工作，也许是为了自己的生活，也许是为了社会或者更高级的意义。

 其实我很好奇大部分的人会坚持多久才关闭这个游戏。 如果你玩了的话，可以在下面评论你放弃时投掷的硬币数量！ 最后，非常感谢体验这个游戏的朋友们！ 非常感谢amazing的作曲家Isabella!
