What s the Story？

This is a comic about someone named Nancy who was once a part of my life.

She was outstanding—intelligent, beautiful, and fearless.
She felt like someone destined for greatness, while I lived under her shadow (even though that comparison was imposed on me by teachers and parents).

So, I accepted my place, as a "stupid" kid, as someone who will never "made it".
I lived with that belief for many years. After graduating from middle school, we lost contact, and she gradually faded out of my life.

Then, I met many people who were talented, brave, and brilliant in their own ways.
When I met Nancy again, I had enormous expectations for her. I imagined that she would have achieved great success and become someone truly extraordinary.

But in the end, she was simply an ordinary person.
And I was simply an ordinary person too.

Although this story is inspired by real life, it is not a story about one person—it is a story about my perspective expanding. It is not meant as a criticism or judgment of anyone.

It is simply a small reflection on how we sometimes forget that we are all extraordinary in our own ways, and also a reflection of gratitude for all the wonderful and remarkable people I have met.
